with the upcoming party we ask that participants take a moment to read over these “rules of engagement”. “Rules” is a crappy word, we are working on some rewordings, maybe “shared intentions”? Feedback is always welcome!

Anti-oppressive living can be hard work aka “heavy” but it can also be super sexy aka “hot”. qmunity league invites you to celebrate the hot n’ heavy possibilities of community building by getting down, dancing around and participating with the intention of fostering safer, engaged spaces.

not only will there be dancing, there will also be a zine building station. our intention is to have party participants make pages that will be made into a zine that will be distributed at the next party!

The entrances, bathroom and interior spaces are wheelchair accessible. EBC North is in the same building as Mamacita Massage (which has a well lit Neon sign). Also, it is near the Stadium LRT and the #5 and #127 bus routes. This will be a licensed event.$5-10 sliding scale, no one turned away

qmunity league/hands in our pants collective is a group of individuals interested in creating spaces where people can have fun and at the same time engage with the intersections of systemic oppression. We strive to make safer spaces and acknowledge that this is an ongoing project.
